# Remove Tracking Domain

> Remove the company tracking domain

Remove your company tracking domain. New emails use Sequenzy's shared tracking
domain.

<Warning>
  Links in emails you already sent through the removed domain stop working. To
  move to another tracking domain without breaking them, use [Set Tracking
  Domain](./set) instead and keep the old CNAME record.

Removing when no tracking domain is set succeeds with `removed: false`. The next
sending domain you add creates a new tracking domain on its root, as the first
one did.

Requires the `companies:manage` scope and owner or admin access.

## Response fields

A `503` means the tracking provider could not release the hostname. The
tracking domain was kept, so you can retry.
