# Get Translation Coverage

> Count how many sequence and transactional emails are translated into each language

Count, for each enabled non-primary language, how many of your emails that keep
sending are translated. The count covers every email step and A/B variant in
sequences that are not archived, plus every enabled transactional email.
Campaigns are not counted.

Use it to follow progress after you add a language in the dashboard or call
[Translate Missing Emails](https://docs.sequenzy.com/api-reference/templates/translate-missing.md).
Personal API keys with the marketer role cannot see transactional emails, so
they are left out of the counts for those keys.

## Response fields

**primaryLocale** `string`

Locale your emails are written in.

**totalEmails** `number`

Sequence and transactional emails counted.

**sequenceEmails** `number`

Sequence email steps and sequence A/B variants counted.

**transactionalEmails** `number`

Enabled transactional emails counted. An email used by both a sequence and a
transactional email counts once, as a sequence email.

**locales** `object[]`

One entry per enabled non-primary locale. Empty when you only have the
primary language.

**properties**

**locale** `string`

Locale code.

**total** `number`

Emails that should have this translation.

**upToDate** `number`

Translated from the current original.

**edited** `number`

Translations someone edited by hand.

**outdated** `number`

Translated before the original changed. These still send.

**translating** `number`

Queued or being translated.

**failed** `number`

The last translation failed, or one stayed queued for over six hours.
Subscribers in this language get your fallback language.

**missing** `number`

Not translated yet. Subscribers in this language get your fallback
language.
